It should come as no surprise that the ingredients contained within this particular Scotty Snacks Smoothie would include apple and, yep, you got it, apple. That and my usual 3 scoops of whey protein powder blended with about 6 cubes of ice and about 1 cup and a half of distilled water. The kind of apple you make it with is truly up to but, I will reveal that I used 2 gala apples for this one.

I went to the fridge for something to make a snack with and came out with the only fruit I had on hand – gala apples. hence this apple friendly treat!

Hey there, Jennifer, thanks much for the note! It was actually my first time doing just apples as well – I am glad I tried it as it proved to be just as good (if not better) as any of the other smoothies I’ve made, all of which consisted of at least 2 fruits. Hope you like it!
