When it comes to snacking good, I’m all about switching hitting and trying new things as frequently as possible. After all, don’t nobody want to snack on the same stuff every day. Right? That being said, I’ve made (special) note of a few sample snacks that I’ve come across over the past couple of months that have left a special spot on my snack palette. Take a peek and feast your eyes below..
I. First off on said list would be this scrumptiously delicious looking Butterscotch-Apple Cake over at the Noble Pig. I mean, for reals, this thing just makes my jaws ache
II. For number 2, I couldn’t help but to reach out with a snack shout for Tangled Noodle with her tasty in title (and in appearance) post, Noshing on Nostalgia yummness. Who has ever heard of cornmeal mush anyway? Not me!
III. Then, this stack of snacks just wouldn’t be anywhere near complete without Samantha’s Cinnamon Streusel and Chocolate Chip Cookies from That’s What Sam Said. Plus, I’ve never done streusels before!
IV. Next up, we’ve got the well know and respected Ludacris breaking bread and bringing in the greens, the grains and the sweets with Martha Stewart during their Salad, Paella And Chocolate Cake snack swapping. Go ahead, Martha, Snack You Some! And, Luda, keep it real as always, sir.
V. And, to wash (just about) any snack down, let us take it LOW LOW LOW down to the dirty south region of New Orleans, LA with this here Cure’s Creole Cocktail at Tasting Table. You know that’s right!
VI. Lastly (for this particular list anyways) is a unique little snack shot I recently came across. Definitely too cute to consume but at the same time, too adorable not to pass on – Brooks Bayne‘s new addition to the family, Axelrod, in The Hot Dog, Redefined.

The hot dog photo is hilarious! however, it turns me off regarding snacking
Hey Jennifer, thanks for stopping by!
LOL, I couldn’t help but to share the photo! Hopefully, you can quickly turn the snack appetite back on with any one of these other, true snack recipes (either here in this specific snack post or anywhere else at ScottySnacks.com)
1) Thanks for the snack shout on cornmeal mush! Not the most appetizing name but neither are Eton Mess and Spotted Dick (those Brits must have been bored when naming their food). Good thing they’re all actually quite tasty.
2) Noble Pig’s Butterscotch Apple-Cake is a power that must not fall into the wrong hands.
3) The wiener dog wiener is too adorable – for a moment, I didn’t think it was even real. He’s so cute, I’d have to take a little nibble.
1.) Not a problem, my pleasure – thanks as always for the continued support here, it is great to have connected with you. And, I will let you know how my cornmeal mush turns out.
2.)Agreed, that Butterscotch Apple-Cake packs a punch. One must snack safely
3.) Yes mam, precious little doggie
