With FAT Tuesday (and its accompanying New Orleans Mardi Gras Flavored Beignets) behind us, Ash Wednesday officially upon us and lent ahead for the next 40 days and 40 nights, I wonder if anyone else is making a pledge to give up on any snacks. Me, personally, am planning to set aside ice cream, candy and chocolate. Then, once Easter time rolls around the hood, I will have to make like the tagline for this here Snack Shop and, Snack Me Some! 
What about you? Any thoughts? Do you even care? 
Regardless, may we all carry on with an adequate amount of appreciation, admiration and respect for one another and for life in general (as well as a plentiful supply of snacks!).
