With good things (conveniently) coming in three’s, Paige couldn’t help but to host yet another #BadAssBBQ by his Venice beach house for a little post-Twiistup fun this Saturday. Although I don’t want to give away too many details, you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be a serious line up of food and drinks at this particular gathering and, if we are all lucky, we may even see the team from Cool Haus and Get Shaved at the show-down. So, bring yourself to #thebeachhouse for a third round of SoCal BBQ Mingling while we set things off on the pit, in the oven, on the stove and in the cups with Paige’s #BadAssBBQ3 Grill-off, Bake-off and Drink-off!

While we bring in the 4th of July with fireworks and (darn good) snacks at #thebeachouse this Saturday, we’ll be reminiscing about all of the good times that were had during the Memorial Day Weekend Feast for the first #BadAssBBQ at casa de Paige Craig. And, although the specifics of the day are honestly a bit fuzzy for me (from all of the fun, no doubt), I do recall consuming some super tasty snacks, especially Jeffrey Henderson’s ribs and Ken Feldman’s jerk chicken. That being said, I hope all in attendance are ready because there promises to be a mean line-up of snacks (again) for July 4th’s #BadAssBBQ2 Celebrations.

Amongst said snacks will include but will not be limited to Jeffrey Henderson’s ribs (and quite possibly some shrimp skewers), Ken Feldman’s jerk chicken, KW‘s korean bbq short ribs, Tony Adam’s marinated chicken (and whatever other yum-ness Tony decides to throw down with), Danielle Pellegrin’s eggs, Adam Bell’s hot sauces, Rob Steven Williams’s tri-tip, something delicious from Babette Pepaj, and last on said list, my own (CrockPot) Jambalaya and Seasonally Inspired Sugar Cookies (and probably another surprise snack or two), to name a few .

Lastly, please remember people, if you are coming to the gathering, it is imperative that you bring some sort of snacks to the party for all to enjoy, even if you just plan to make like Francisco Dao and bring some diet sodas – anything & everything is greatly appreciated and much needed to keep the good times rolling for everyone this Saturday (and Sunday) . Fresh from the cool meats section at the grocery market, the Habanero & Green Chile Sausage from Aidell’s is great for any snacking occasion, small or LARGE. Go on and simply pry the sealed-for-freshness container and throw them links on to your BBQ pit. After about 10 minutes of grilling and flipping, paint a little BBQ sauce on top and serve HOT! enJOY.

Like the recent article at LaLaWag written by Laurie Percival explained, Paige Craig is hosting a (Badass) BBQ Bash this coming Saturday, May 23, 2009, to better help the fellow Los Angeles folk unite and bring in the Memorial Day weekend with a (BBQ) bang. Although I can’t report on the exact measures for the day, I can safely confirm that there will be heavy consumption of BBQ meats and vegetables and beverages (specifically tequila) amongst various other snacks.
