Watch out. With the left-over ground beef I had from my Paradise Cheeseburger (On Grilled Wheat Bread) Snack, I couldn’t help but to do breakfast a little on the incredible side.

The Eggs. The Bacon. The Burger. The Cheese.

2 Eggs
2 Bacon Slices
.5 – 1 Lb Ground Meat
1 Tsp Purple Onion (Sliced)
1 Tsp Shitake Mushrooms (Sliced)
1 Slice Cheddar Cheese

The Works

I, personally, like to get the bacon cooked then do the burger and the eggs somewhat simultaneously. That being said, after the bacon is done, evenly mix the onion and mushroom slices with the ground meat, form your burger and toss that patty on the grill. Once about 7-10 minutes of wholesome bbq pitting has taken place, get those eggs a scrambling. The burger should take about 15-20 minutes AT MOST on the pit so just before taking it off, add the slice of cheddar cheese to it and let it melt. Then, we all know how the rest of this snack story goes..

With the eggs, bacon and ham waiting patiently in the fridge (to be snacked on), breakfast could not have come at a better time. Break out the skillet and the spatula, we adding clarified butter, eggs, bacon, ham and cheese to the mix!

Fixings

1 Tsp Clarified Butter
3 Eggs
1/8 Cup Cheddar Cheese (Grated Or Broken Into Pieces)
2 Slices Of Cooked Bacon (Broken Up Into Pieces)
2 Slices Of Honey-Baked Ham (Broken Up Into Pieces)

Fixing Then Flipping

Although I usually just break the eggs over the skillet then beat them all together quickly with a fork, you can choose to break the eggs into a bowl and beat them together if you prefer. That being said, let’s get the skillet ready for this <del datetime="2009-05-29T17:44:15+00:00">omelet</del> omelette. Set the sotve to a low-medium burn and spread the clarified butter on your skillet evenly prior to pouring the eggs across the bottom. Once you see the beaten eggs beginning to mold together/harden (usually after about 2-3 minutes of cooking), go on and add the bacon, ham and cheese pieces over the eggs. Now, here comes the tricky part that can turn your omelet into scrambled eggs in just a snap – use the spatula and begin to (gently) round the edges of the omelet together so as to pull the eggs off of the skillet wall. Once you have gone around the entire omelet edges at least twice, find the loosest/lightest side of the omelet and make ready to flip it over onto the other side. If you succeeded with the flip, the rest is super easy.. let it cook for a moment or two longer, making sure the eggs are cooked completely, then place onto your plate. Breakfast is served.

*To Note: Not a problem if the flip doesn’t work and the omelet breaks apart. It happens to the best of us. Scramble the ingredients together and enjoy your meal for scrambled eggs may look and feel a bit different but, they taste exactly the same as omelets. Then, dust yourself off and try making an omelet some other time

With a no complex carbohydrate snack in mind, I whipped up a high protein (and, with the bacon and the egg yolks, a high fat) bearing combination. And, although I consumed this here traditional breakfast snack at lunch time, I’ll claim it as brunch but, clearly, this tasty meal can be served all day/night, around the clock.

What Was Used

4 Eggs
4 Slices Bacon
1/4 Cup Cheddar Cheese (Shredded/Grated)
1/2 Navel Orange (Sliced)

What Was Done

Similar to how I did the eggs from my Big (Over) Easy Eggs Combo Snack, I cooked the bacon first then poured the grease out but left the skillet still lubed from the bacon grease so that I could prepare the eggs in it. That being said, while the bacon was resting in between a thick layer of paper towels, I cracked each egg over the greased skillet then used a fork to “scramble” them up. Then, once the eggs became just about cooked, I sprinkled in the shredded cheese and orange slices and stirred it all up, just prior to pouring on to a plate (along side the bacon) and chewing it down. And that’s the way the story go.

Mixings

2 Eggs
2 Slices Bacon
1 Cup Cooked Grits
1 Tbsp Grated Cheddar Cheese

The How To

Cook bacon slices to a crispy finish in skillet then place atop some layered paper towels for draining. After pouring bacon grease into empty pot to cool (dispose of properly once cooled down), break 2 eggs over the bacon greased skillet and set on low. Once eggs are fully cooked on one side (i.e. all of egg is white) gently flip over on other side, keeping yolk in tact. Let sit on low for about a minute or two then turn the stove off and carefully set atop plate/bowl of choice. Next, (quickly) break bacon slices into pieces and add to cooked grits along with some grated cheese. Stir well and pour either on top, next to or around eggs. Eat as you prefer. Me, personally..I like to break the egg yolks into the grits and spoon on down. Best served with a Scotty Snacks Tea or a Scotty Snacks Smoothie. Right?

After waking up from a much needed (good) night of sleep, I peered into the fridge and pulled out the leftovers from this past weekend’s round of fun to feast on…

Materials Used

3 eggs
1/4 cup cooked beef taco meat
2 tsp grated cheddar/jack cheese
1 flour tortilla
1 tsp salsa (of choice)
1/4 cup shredded lettuce
1 small handful of sprouts

How To

As simple as cracking the eggs over the skillet, adding the (leftover) beef tacos along with the cooked shrimp and shredded cheddar/jack cheese then scrambling it all together finely with a fork, truly anyone can create this breakfast burrito. Once the eggs are cooked, pour (or spoon) onto a warm tortilla, add the sprouts, shredded lettuce and salsa and, to put it bluntly, wrap it up!

Pair It With

Although this burrito snack is best when consumed with any one of Scotty Snacks smoothies or freshly brewed teas (of course, right?), it will wash down well with just about any beverage, specifically juices, milks, coffees, milk shakes and even water. And, for extra bells and whistles, toss some fresh fruit alongside and put a price tag on this puppy.
