With a no complex carbohydrate snack in mind, I whipped up a high protein (and, with the bacon and the egg yolks, a high fat) bearing combination. And, although I consumed this here traditional breakfast snack at lunch time, I’ll claim it as brunch but, clearly, this tasty meal can be served all day/night, around the clock.

What Was Used

4 Eggs
4 Slices Bacon
1/4 Cup Cheddar Cheese (Shredded/Grated)
1/2 Navel Orange (Sliced)

What Was Done

Similar to how I did the eggs from my Big (Over) Easy Eggs Combo Snack, I cooked the bacon first then poured the grease out but left the skillet still lubed from the bacon grease so that I could prepare the eggs in it. That being said, while the bacon was resting in between a thick layer of paper towels, I cracked each egg over the greased skillet then used a fork to “scramble” them up. Then, once the eggs became just about cooked, I sprinkled in the shredded cheese and orange slices and stirred it all up, just prior to pouring on to a plate (along side the bacon) and chewing it down. And that’s the way the story go.

In an effort to shed some excess weight/fat (as quickly as possible) I recently began partaking in the no complex carbohydrate diet plan. Similarly, I cut out the complex carbohydrates from my diet a couple of years back and recall the speed at which I lost weight and felt/looked slimmer. Although the side effects tend to consist of a lack of energy paired with a constant appetite for more food (mostly for the first week or so for me at least), I believe this method to be the most effective for my weight watching and reduction. And, to mention, eliminating complex carbohydrates altogether turns out to be easier than counting calories and measuring food amounts, in my honest opinion (and experience). So, for at least the first 2 weeks, I plan to not eat any complex carbohydrates and, then, I will gradually begin to add them to my snack consumption every couple of days or so.

Some Snacks With Complex Carbohydrates

Pastas
Rice
Fried Foods
Potatoes

With all of that noted, I do plan to share some new snack ideas and/or recipes of mine which I will be experimenting with, specifically those void of complex carbohydrates but, don’t fret, as I will still publish and discuss regular, non-diet snacks along the way, too

*What about you? What works best for you when it comes to dieting/losing weight?
