Watch out. With the left-over ground beef I had from my Paradise Cheeseburger (On Grilled Wheat Bread) Snack, I couldn’t help but to do breakfast a little on the incredible side.

The Eggs. The Bacon. The Burger. The Cheese.

2 Eggs
2 Bacon Slices
.5 – 1 Lb Ground Meat
1 Tsp Purple Onion (Sliced)
1 Tsp Shitake Mushrooms (Sliced)
1 Slice Cheddar Cheese

The Works

I, personally, like to get the bacon cooked then do the burger and the eggs somewhat simultaneously. That being said, after the bacon is done, evenly mix the onion and mushroom slices with the ground meat, form your burger and toss that patty on the grill. Once about 7-10 minutes of wholesome bbq pitting has taken place, get those eggs a scrambling. The burger should take about 15-20 minutes AT MOST on the pit so just before taking it off, add the slice of cheddar cheese to it and let it melt. Then, we all know how the rest of this snack story goes..

Well, snack-a-doodle-doo! Just getting the bbq pit at the new apartment broken in and, to do so, we got charcoal, lighter fluid, some ground meat, one purple onion, some medium sliced cheddar cheese, a bottle of bbq sauce, some wheat bread and a batch of shitake mushrooms. Get those coals a glowing, it’s time to break bbq bread…

The Fixings

3 Lbs Ground Meat
1/3 Purple Onion (Sliced)
3-5 Shitake Mushrooms (Sliced)
Sliced Wheat Bread
1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce

Preparation

Now that you got the charcoals lit in a nice pile on the pit, (wash those hands and) get to slicing the mushrooms and onions so that you can add them to the ground meat and stir them around evenly. Now, it is just a waiting game – as soon as those charcoals begin to glow orange, toss those (3) hand-patted/crafted burger patties on the grill and close the lid for about 5 minutes before opening and flipping the patties over on the other side for another 5 minutes of bbq’ing. Depending on the heat being let off and the state at which you like your burger cooked, you probably have about 10 more minutes of cooking for the burgers, 5 minutes on each side. Once they look good enough to be swallowed down, add some bbq sauce atop then place a slice of cheddar cheese on it. Next, throw the bread slices on the grill so as to toast them up a bit. And, the rest is pretty self explanatory.. as soon as the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted, sandwich the burger inside the bread and chew down (feel free to add condiments if need be but, I just took mine down as it was – burger, cheese, bread and bbq sauce ).
