After biting into this lusciously sweet, warm tasting raspberry and blueberry brownie treat, I decided against copying the Ben & Jerry’s Magic Brownies name and spelled Brownie Points out instead. But, make no mistake nonetheless, these brownies are somewhat magical – magically delicious that is! Besides the raspberries and blueberries, these brownies are basically as easy as any other batch of brownies you’ve ever done. Have yourself a seat and enjoy the juicy details (below).

The Baking Essentials

1 Stick Butter
2 Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Baking Powder
2/3 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Baking Cocoa
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Blueberries
1 Cup Raspberries

The Preparation And Then The Baking

Melt the butter and mix it evenly with the sugar then stir in the eggs until at a creamy consistency. Next, toss in your salt along with your vanilla extract just prior to SLOWLY adding and stirring in your flour. Then, break out the baking soda and cocoa and blend both in until the mixture becomes creamy. And, last, but certainly not least, throw in the blueberries and strawberries and stir them around evenly.

It is now time to pour your soon-to-be-delicious Brownie Points Concoction into a greased 8×12 inch baking pan. Bake fully at 325 degrees for approximately 30-40 minutes. In my honest opinion, these puppies are best while still a bit soft and runny in the middle so I like to take them out and place in the freezer for about 5 or so minutes prior to slicing up so as to keep them from continuing to bake in the pan.

Extra Brownie Points

Toss yourself some whipped cream and ice cream along with some fresh blueberries and raspberries on top for some additional flare that will add to the delicious taste just as much as it will to the pleasing aesthetics. Furthermore, for a secret little addition, add a Teaspoon or two of a berry tasting port (dessert) wine then bake and think about pairing it with said dessert wine both drizzled on the brownies as well as in a glass.. shhhhhh
