Mango Long Grain Rice :)

Organic Long Grain (Brown) Rice with Diced Mango, Coconut Oil, Almond Milk and Honey


The Basics

  • Prep time 10 minutes 
  • Cook Time 10 minutes 
  • Servings 1-2


1 cup Lundberg Organic Long Grain Brown Rice (cooked)
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon honey
1 large mango (diced)
1/8 teaspoon sea salt


  1. Add coconut oil, almond milk and rice to pot, turn to medium-low and stir around frequently for about 5-7 minutes (to gently warm up the ingredients)
  2. Test a small bite to see that the ingredients are warm then set pot to LOW, add diced mango and stir all around evenly prior to turing the heat Off
  3. Serve warm in favorite cup, bowl or saucer of choice, drizzle Honey and a sprinkle of sea salt on top then stir around and enjoy

Lundberg Ingredients



  1. Combine rice, water, and butter (optional) in a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low-simmer, and cook  40 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork.
*If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer.
